ITINERARY

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Arriving Delhi, you will clear customs and immigration. Leaving the airport, you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Arrival transfer to hotel The Taj Mahal which is located in the exclusive residential area of Lutyens’ Delhi, close to the seat of government. Reflecting the heritage of Mughal Delhi, this hotel offers graceful architecture with modern facilities. The warm, pristine white lobby of The Taj includes design details reminiscent of Mughal architecture such as intricate motifs, golden inlay work, and niches from ‘Shahjahanabad’, the erstwhile mogul capital. The hotel is a veritable showcase of artifacts with the intricate design work of the lobby’s domes and panels perfectly complimenting the calm marble fountain streams. Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi which is India's bustling capital city. It was from here that Hindu, Muslim and Mughal dynasties as well as the British ruled. Old & New Delhi present a stunning juxtaposition of sights and sounds with the ancient city built by Emperor Shah Jahan the builder of the famous Taj Mahal, and the new garden city built in 1911 by the British.

First of all visit India Gate which is a famous war memorial at the east end of Rajpath. Edward Lutyens designed this 42 m high gate structure in memory of the thousands of Indians who sacrificed their lives in World War I. Today, an eternal flame is lit under the gate known as Amar Jawan Jyoti, to honor the unknown soldiers and the martyrs who lost their lives in the Pakistan war of 1971. Also visit Rajghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi ). Later on visit Lotus Temple(Bahai Temple) which is the newest most extravagant architectural wonder of the Bahai faith, located in Kalkaji, south of Delhi. The temple in white is shaped like a half opened lotus flower. Made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand, the Lotus Temple is a marvel of 20th century architecture. The lotus shaped temple in a modern and contemporary form captivates into its sanctum sanctorum people from all races, religious backgrounds and culture from around the globe. It represents the Bahai faith, - an independent world religion; divine in origin, all embracing in scope, broad in its outlook, scientific in its method, humanitarian in its principles, and dynamic in the influence. 

In the late afternoon visit Qutab Minar which is 72.5 m in height and has a mosque at the base. It is a magnificent structure whose construction started in 1199 by a Muslim King Qutab-ud-din Aibak (after whom it was named) and was finished by his heir IItutmish. There is an iron pillar standing proudly in front of it since 5th century and has not rusted till yet! It is said that if one hugs this Iron Pillar of Mehrauli and wish for something, it is granted. Later on drive past President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 03 - Delhi - Kathmandu
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to airport to catch flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of the ‘Hindu Kingdom of Nepal’ - an extraordinary land only now entering the 20th century. Arriving Kathmandu and you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Arrival transfer to hotel Hyatt Regency which is a luxury 5 star city resort hotel situated 10 Km from the city centre of Kathmandu, Nepal, on the road to Boudhanath Stupa - the most holy of Tibetan Buddhist shrines outside Tibet. The hotel is 4 Km from Tribhuvan International Airport and very close to the business district and shopping areas. The Boudhanath Stupa is within ten minutes walking distance from the hotel. Day 04 - Kathmandu
After an early breakfast full day city our visit The Pashupatinath Temple, situated on the banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one of the holiest Hindu shrines. Also visit Swayambhunath which is located approximately 4 km west of Kathmandu City. This is believed to be 25 centuries old and stands as one of the world's oldest Buddhist Chaityas (Stups). The Great Stupa of Swayambhu is the wonder that was Nepal, the glory that was Nepal. It is indeed listed a World Heritage Site to prove that it serves as the nerve center of faithful worship for all the devout Buddhist of the universe.  After that visit Mahadev Parvati Temple.

Later on visit Darbar Squar & Hanuman Dhoka, the name of the old royal palace has been derived from the statue of Hanuman (the monkey god of Hindu mythology) Also visit Kumari Ghar - Not only does Nepal have many gods, goddess, deities, Bodhisattvas (near Buddhas), avatars and manifestations, which are worshipped and revered as statues, images, paintings and symbols, but it also has a real living goddess. The Kumari Devi is a young girl who lives in the building known as the Kumari Ghar, right beside Kathmandu's Durbar Square.

In the afternoon an excursion to Natural History Museum which is the only of its kind in Nepal is situated 3 km west of Kathmandu City, behind the famous Swayambhunath hillock. This Museum has over 14,000 of unique collections of butterflies, fish, reptiles, birds and mammals, plants and fossils recorded with the country. Near by there is another National Museum, one can have a general idea of the historical and archaeological objects on show since it houses a remarkable and wide range of weapons of war antiques. Day 05 - Kathmandu
After breakfast an excursion to The ancient city of Patan, lying 5 Kms southeast of Kathmandu, is known as the city of fine arts. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The diversity of the medieval culture that allowed both Hinduism and Buddhism to flourish has left a rich legacy of impressive sightseeing in this city for today's visitors. Visit Durbar Square: The old palace of the medieval rulers of Patan, believed to have been founded by King Veer Deva in 299 A.D. The square contains innumerable buildings embellished with elaborately carved windows and balconies in the Newar tradition. Also Patan Museum: This museum inside the Durbar Square specializes in bronze statues and religious objects. It is considered as one of the best museums in Asia. In the late afternoon come back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 06 - Kathmandu - Pokhara
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Pokhara - the most popular adventure hub of Nepal. Pokhara is located at the base of Annapurna range of the Himalayas. It offers an abundance of scenic beauty and reputed as the starting point for Nepal's countless trekking and rafting destinations. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fish - tailed summit of Machhapuchhre rising is sure to leave you spellbound. On arrival check into Hotel. Day 08 - Pokhara - Chitwan
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, the oldest national park in Nepal, is situated in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal. The park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984. On about an area of 932 sqkms the park covers pristine area with a unique ecosystem of significant value to the world. It contains the Churiya hills, lakes and flood plains of Rapti, Reu and Narayani Rivers. Approximately 70% of the park vegetation is sal forest. The remaining vegetation types include grassland (20%), riverine forest (7%), and sal with chirpine (3%), the latter occurring at the top of the Churiya range. The one-horned rhino is the most famous denizen of the Royal Chitwan National Park. There are more than 43 species of mammals in the park and more than 450 species of birds. Among the endangered birds are the Bengal florican, giant hornbill, lesser florican, black stork and white stork. The best time for bird watching is March and December. Day 09 - Chitwan National Park
After breakfast full day explore Chitwan National Park. More than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles occur in the park, some of which are the marsh crocodile, cobra, green pit viper and various species of frogs and tortoises. The park is actively engaged in the scientific studies of several species of wild fauna and flora. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 10 - Chitwan - Kathmandu - Delhi (Departure)
After an early breakfast check-out from the hotel at 0700 hrs and in time transfer to Kathmandu airport to catch flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Car with driver will be at your disposal until transfer to IGI Airport to catch flight for onward destination. (Breakfast)
