ITINERARY

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Arriving Delhi, you will clear customs and immigration. Leaving the airport, you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it at the exit. Arrival transfer to your hotel and assistance for check-in will be provided. After check-in overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi which is India's bustling capital city. It was from here that Hindu, Muslim and Mughal dynasties as well as the British ruled. Old & New Delhi present a stunning juxtaposition of sights and sounds with the ancient city built by Emperor Shah Jahan the builder of the famous Taj Mahal, and the new garden city built in 1911 by the British.

Visiting India gate (war memorial), Rajghat  (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi ) and Red Fort. After that visit The National Museum is one of India's most prestigious institutions. The galleries of the museum follow a historical and chronological sequence. The Indus Valley Gallery displays many antiquities excavated from Mohenjodaro and Harappa, like terracotta toys, images and pots, jewellery, seals, bronze and copper implements and sculpture. Later on drive past President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building. Later on visit Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 03 - Delhi - Neemrana - Jaipur
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Neemrana fort which is India's oldest heritage resort. Sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year-old Aravalli ranges, the property covers 25 acres/10 hectares. The stepped palaces of this architectural jewel is cut into the hillside to sprawl over 3 acres/1.2 hectares. Arrive Jaipur and check-in into hotel.

Rest of the day free to relax at your hotel. OR you can explore the local markets for souvinir shopping the Jaipur is famous for- Jewellery, precious stones, paintings, hand printed textiles etc.  In the evening we have arranged your dinner at Indiana Restaurant. Enjoy your hot & delicious dinner with Rajasthani folk dances & music. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast visit Amer Fort - The royal family's residence at Amber is only 11 km away. The palaces and forts of yesteryear, once witness to royal processions, now shine amid the splendor of modern monuments, a juxtaposition accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of an amazing people. Ascend on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.

In the afternoon half day city tour covering Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds," one of the major landmarks of Jaipur, although it is actually little more than a facade. The five-storey building overlooks the main street of the old city and is a stunning example of Rajput artistry with its pink, semi-octagonal, honeycombed, sandstone windows. It was originally built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and processions of the city. The City Palace, located in the heart of the old city, is a large complex of courtyards, buildings, and gardens, and also houses an interesting museum. Adjacent to the City Palace is Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory built by Raja Jai Singh, whose passion for astronomy was even more notable than his prowess as a warrior. Day 05 - Jaipur - Ranthambore
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and depart on a three hour drive to Ranthambhore. On arrival check-in into Jungle Resort. After lunch explore Ranthambhore National Park on you own. This 420 sq km park was at one time the hunting grounds for the Maharaja of Jaipur and his court, before being declared a reserve forest within Project Tiger. Dominated by the massive ramparts of Ranthambore Fort, the varied vegetation of the park is the home to a wide variety of wild life and birds, and is regarded as the best spot in India to catch a glimpse of the elusive tiger. Dinner & overnight at resort. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 06 - Ranthambore
Breakfast at resort. We have included morning & evening game drives to explore Ranthambhore National Park. Embark on a Canter Ride into the Park for Game Viewing. Canter - a 20-seater vehicle which has been specially re-fitted and furbished for comfort and good viewing. Ranthambhore is the ideal place to spot the tiger. The majestic predator assured of protection, roams freely during the daytime and can be seen at close quarters. Other wildlife to be seen include sambar, chital, nilgai (blue bull), chinkara, langur, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, pythons and leopards. Crocodiles abound in the lakes. The lakes also attract a large number of migratory and local birds. Dinner & overnight at hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 07 - Ranthambore - Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast check-out and drive to Agra en-route visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world. You will enjoy a Rickshaw ride inside the Sanctuary for Bird Watching. Bharatpur is world renowned for its World Heritage listed Bird Sanctuary, the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. It is one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world inundated with over 400 species of water birds. Exotic migratory birds from Afghanistan, Central Asia, Tibet as well as Siberian cranes, come here in July/August to spend the winters and they breed till October/ November. Other common bird life to be seen are cormorants, spoonbills, storks, egrets, herons, pelicans, ibis and herons that can be spotted all over the park.

Later on continue drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri - Built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire, Fatehpur Sikri was mysteriously abandoned 13 years later. The mosque at Fatehpur Sikri is considered a copy of the mosque at Mecca and is extremely elegant, containing elements of Hindu and Persian design. The main entrance to the complex Buland Darwaza or "Great Gateway" is reached by an impressive flight of stairs. Inscribed on the inside of the archway is the quote: "The World is a bridge. Pass over it, but build no house upon it. He who hopes for an hour, may hope for eternity."  Arrive Agra and check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast)

Day 08 - Agra - Katni

Early morning visit the Taj Mahal which is India’s most fascinating and beautiful masterpiece. Set amidst landscaped gardens on the banks of the Yamuna river, this edifice was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After her untimely death, Shah Jahan had her mortal remains buried in this mausoleum. And after his own demise he was placed to rest next to his beloved queen in the same mausoleum. The Taj is most enthralling in the quietness of early morning. With the rising Sun the white marble changes its colour and hues and it is excellent for photography.  Come back to hotel for breakfast. Rest of the morning free to relax at your hotel.

In the afternoon check-out from the hotel and visit Red Fort which is surrounded by a 70 feet high wall. It is home to the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am and Moti Masjid. Later it was used by his son Jehangir as the seat of power. With four gates the Fort is enclosed by a double barricaded wall of red sand stone. The Jahangir Mahal is reached through an impressive gateway and its inner courtyard consists of beautiful halls, profuse carvings on stone, exquisitely carved heavy brackets, piers and cross beams.

Car and driver will be at your disposal until transfer to Agra Cantt. Railway Station to catch MAHAKOSHAL EXPRESS train to Katni. Overnight Train. (Breakfast)

Day 09 - Katni - Bandhavgarh
Arrive Katni and you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it at the exit. Arrival transfer to Bandhavgarh. This is a small National Park; compact, yet full of game. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. This is also white Tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. The last known was captured by maharaja Martand Singh in 1951 . This White tiger , Mohun, is now stuffed and on display in the Palace of the Mahrahahs of Rewa. 

On arrival check in into Bandhavgarh Jungle lodge - A rustic ambience is the main attraction of this Lodge, which has been created with the theme of an Indian village. Nature walks and visits to see many of India's endangered species are rewarding experiences. Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge is walking distance from the gate and is situated on the periphery of the Bandhavgarh National Park (Early check-in will be provided if rooms are available). Later on enjoy your afternoon game drive to the park to spot the tiger. Overnight at lodge. (Lunch/Dinner)

Day 10 - Bandhavgarh
Since only two game drives per day are allowed inside the park inorder to save the wildlife from over exposure,we utilise these days by venturing on both drives inside the park. Enjoy your morning and afternoon jeep-safaries. View the most sought after beast of the wild - the tiger on Elephant back (Elephant rides are subject to availability at the time). Overnight at lodge. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 11 - Bandhavgarh - Katni - Delhi

In the morning enjoy another game drive to explore the Park. After breakfast morning free to relax at your hotel. In the afternoon check-out from the lodge and transfer to Katni Railway station to catch GONDWANA EXPRESS train to Delhi. Overnight train. (Breakfast)

Day 12 - Delhi - Corbett National Park
Arrive Delhi in the morning and you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it at the exit. Then drive to Corbett National Park - Situated in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district. Corbett National Park is the place from where Project Tiger was launched in 1973. The park has a core area of 520 sq. kms with picturesque hilly ridges covered by sal trees. Lower down are the grasslands and bamboo growth. A list of species reported from Corbett included 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. The floral diversity is also extremely varied. The Park is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularised this land and its animals in his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon". Corbett recounts many fascinating tales of hunting down man-eating tigers. Always a nature lover, he helped set up a sanctuary called Hailey Park in 1936. Eventually, an all India initiative for the protection of the Tiger was launched from here. The park has a high density of tiger population.

On arrival check-in into Infinity Resorts (Tigar Tops Lodge) which is situated in the himaliyan foothills on the banks of the Kosi River. Situated in the Kumaon hills of western Uttar Pradesh, it reflects a high standard of jungle accommodation which is unique in India. The lodge has a typical jungle ambience with its huge wooden rafters in a dome-shaped split level mega-pagoda, which serves as a lounge with a cozy fireplace, a fully-stocked bar and a dining hall. The decor, the furniture, the artifacts, all capture the tough life of the jungle so loved by the legendary Jim Corbett. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 13 - Corbett National Park
After breakfast enjoy your morning and afternoon jeep-safaries/ one morning elephant ride in the Park. The Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary is an excellent and largely inviolate specimen of the rich sal and mixed woodland that spans the outer Himalayas. Because of its rich biogeographic diversity, the Park is a natural haven for the flora and fauna of the plains, the sub mountainous regions and high altitude areas. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 14 - Corbett National Park - Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and car with driver will be at your disposal until departure transfer to International Airport to catch flight for onward destination. (Breakfast)
